an average night in gotham.
Tired, beaten up and bruised from everything that happened in the daytime, you settle in bed, already used to the sounds of madness emanating from your bedroom's window. The cold air comes in, blending pleasantly with the warmth of your blanket. You hear the Clown's laugh somewhere, gunfire at some point and ambulances in other - not like anything could make you give up your surprisingly cheap apartment, the location only a slip away from true danger.
You're sure you hear someone running past your place (which is concerning considering the height), but soon brush it off as you choose to believe it's just a vigilante willing to save other Gothamites from the impending doom of clown faced guys and green painted girls.
