The most mundane noises seem heavenly after the past 5 years: Tony cursing at the coffee maker, the gentle whirring of machines, the soft thuds of someone in the gym beating a punching bag, the way you can barely hear the birds outside.
'Home' wasn't a concept you'd ever spent much time agonizing over: it didn't exist, simple as that. For once in your complex, frustrating life, you are at home. Everything is good.
