Evening Study with Peter
It’s fall, and that only means midterms are coming up. Peter invited you over to his apartment to study with him. You have English together, and his logic-oriented brain has trouble understanding abstract concepts, so you help him out. It’s raining, but you expected it. You sit with him in his room, crosslegged on his bed while he sits at his desk to your right. You can’t stop watching the way he bites his pen and furrows his brows when he’s confused. The night goes on like that, with the both of you studying and listening to the rain and the typical New York traffic outside his window, while May listens to old records in the living room while she cleans. And frankly, you wouldn’t have it any other way...
