Sleeping in a Gotham Apartment
The sounds of Gotham, relaxing to the ears of a seasoned Gothamite.
You (or your character) live in a shoddy apartment in Gotham, right on the edge of the rough side of town.
A peaceful atmosphere washes over the city at night: distant gunfire, traffic, laughter, rain, if you listen hard enough you might just hear the sounds of the resident vigilante pattering over your roof towards the occasional police siren.
You fall asleep with a smile as a faint explosion goes off, quietly snuggling into your blanket.
(City Noir soundscape I guess?
I wanted to add maybe some helicopters and dogs barking, but there wasn't enough room. Let's just say there's less police helicopters due to the location of the apartment, and the barking is muffled.)
