Stormy Night in Gotham City
You're lying in bed in your apartment in downtown Gotham, with the window open to listen to the thunderstorm. The neon light on your building flickers feebly. Even at night, the heart of Gotham is still bustling: people driving home, the train rattling by full of tired commuters. And both the criminal underworld and the GCPD are kept busy: police sirens wail every now and then in response to distant gunshots or explosions, part of a bank robbery or warehouse takeover. But that's life in downtown Gotham, and you're used to it.
